LOCATION

The road from Maputo to Xai-Xai is in a good condition. The last 36 km from Xai-Xai to the Paradise Magoo turn off, potholes force the driver to slow down. The road from Xai-Xai to the north will be newly tarred by December 2010. The last 6 km from the turn off, the road changes to a sand track. 4x4 vehicles are recommended, although “diff-lock” equipped vehicles will be able to access the camp terrain.

Tyres should be deflated to -800 bar to be able to drive on the soft sand. Safe parking is available approximately 1 km from the camp for other vehicles - we will arrange transportation from the safe parking area.
